Will we see these characters again?
One or two may have a cameo in one of my stories.
Tell us about your other published works.
Heart and Soul is the third book in the Rock Star Romance books. The books do not need to be read in order. However, the reader might smile when a character makes a cameo appearance.

Order of the books published:

End of the Road

Heart and Soul
On what are you currently working?
I'm working on another rock star romance with the title Twirl and Dip, but this may not be the final title.
When not writing, what can we find you doing?
Our current situation has changed things. I used to take in a concert at least once a week, if not more. Now, I like to take long walks with my husband in our neighborhood or with a few close friends at the park. Of course, we wear masks. My husband and I have binged watch Ozark and are watching Yellowstone now.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
So many to choose from. I think I'd like the ability to slow down time so I could complete everything I need to do in a day.
If you could meet one person living or dead, who would it be and why?
I'd like to meet Michael Hutchence, who was the frontman for INXS. I'd love to chat with him about music and his inspiration for his lyrics. I'd like to show him how much he is missed and how his music has inspired so many people. Finally, I'd like to just hang out with him and get to know the real Michael and not what the tabloids have painted him to be.
Let's say I'm coming for a visit to your area. What are some must-see places?
The Queen Mary is one of my favorite places to visit. It's permanently docked in Long Beach, California, and is a museum and hotel with restaurants where you can kick back and enjoy a meal. They offer historical tours, and paranormal attractions, tour, too. If you just want to soak up the sun, Huntington Beach is a great place to kick off those shoes and dip your toes in the ocean. Then, of course, there are amusement parks like Disneyland or Knott's Berry Farm.
What is something on your bucket list you have accomplished?
I want to travel to Scotland and explore! Maybe coax the Loch Ness Monster into taking a photo with me. ϑ
What is something readers may be surprised to learn about you?
Every time I travel with my husband or friends, we try to take a ghost tour of the place we are visiting.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Thank you so much for having me on your blog and showcasing Heart and Soul. I appreciate your time to prepare the interview and the post. To the readers: Thank you so much for loving books. Without you, an author's story is just ink on paper and nothing more.

80s rock star, Haley Rose, and her boyfriend went missing without a trace on October 31, 1988, and were eventually presumed dead. Three decades later, thirty-year-old, Rowan Beckett, recalls things only Haley Rose would know, and she can belt out songs in the same unique fashion. However, Rowan couldn't be the missing rock star since Haley would now be in her fifties. Could Haley Rose have come back reincarnated as Rowan Beckett? Or is Rowan as delusional as her family suspects?

Read an excerpt:
He studied her with a frown, trying to decipher her expression. He stepped closer, and the whiff of her perfume tickled his senses with something sweet and intoxicating, making him wonder for the umpteenth time why this woman intrigued him in such a profound way. He had wanted to kiss her the first time he laid eyes on her, believing he knew her from his past and perhaps had hooked up a time or two. He wanted to kiss her again when he heard her sing the other night as if the sound of her voice and melody meant something to him. And now? Hell, now he wanted to kiss her because she smelled divine. Who cared about ghosts when something supernatural was already building between himself and Rowan, or perhaps that was wishful thinking on his part? He gave her a sidelong glance, hoping to see a similar reaction on her part.

"Maverick?" she murmured his name, and her eyes fluttered closed. Names were powerful and hearing his on her lips, a bit breathy and whiskey-worn, put him at her mercy. His aunt had used the whiskey-worn phrase in one of her romance novels, and not until this moment had he realized what she meant.

He had it bad for this woman and didn't care. He leaned toward her, giving her a chance to object, but she didn't move, and she didn't stop him as he brushed his lips against hers in a tender caress. He slid his hand down her back to pull her closer, but Rowan grabbed his arm and turned away.

"What is that?" she hissed, then pointed.

**My thoughts**
The premise of this novel completely intrigued me. I love rock star romance. Paranormal/ghost stories can be fun. And this potential reincarnation is fascinating.

I think I enjoyed the story of Rowan seeking answers to her "memories" of Haley Rose the best in this book. She gets snippets of memories or messages and is trying to figure out what actually happened to Haley Rose. So she's having some paranormal encounters and trying to solve a mystery all at the same time. And for the first time, someone doesn't think she is completely crazy. Unraveling the tangled truth was fascinating.

You can see the connection between Rowan and Maverick and suspect that they are connected as soulmates over time. I didn't quite *feel* the connection as much when I was reading, but it was clearly there.

This was definitely an interesting concept for a story and I enjoyed reading it. Thank you to the author and Goddess Fish for fulfilling my request for a review copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

    1. Not often, but when I do, I change the scenery. I work outside or on the couch. Sometimes, I just take a break and listen to music.

    1. I was about nine. I wanted to be a playwright. My 5th grade teacher let me direct one of my plays and cast some of my classmates. It was so much fun!
