  **My thoughts**

I am not usually a fan of stories in the fae genre, but when I had the opportunity to read this story from Belinda Boring, the Queen of Swoon, I couldn't help myself! And sure enough, I was drawn into the tale of a woman who is torn between the two ultimate loves of her life. I would also have a hard time choosing between the childhood dream and the practical sure thing. Sometimes those few fleeting moments really can last a lifetime!

It was a story that I devoured while cooking dinner, and I even let dinner burn by accident. I read it in two quick sittings, only because I had to leave in the middle of it! I ask you which you would choose and I won't tell you in which direction Aithne goes.

It's a story of contained animal lust, love at first sight, girlish fantasy and more. Prepare for some swooning and daydreaming to follow reading it!

About Author Liz Schulte

Many authors claim to have known their calling from a young age. Liz Schulte, however, didn't always want to be an author. In fact, she had no clue. Liz wanted to be a veterinarian, then she wanted to be a lawyer, then she wanted to be a criminal profiler. **My thoughts**

I have been hearing wonderful things about Olivia Hardin as an author for quite some time now. I had downloaded this book several months ago, and it has just been collecting virtual dust on my TBR pile. When the opportunity to review the third book in the series came about, I finally had the reason to bump it up on my list!

When I first started it, I was a little unsure. The story seems to just dive right in and I was a little confused. As the story continued, it started to make more sense. I realized that I was learning the facts at the same time that Devan was learning about herself, her powers, and her past. She was also coming to terms with the fact that someone wants her for her powers. The more that I got to know, the more I was drawn into the book. At its end, I was glad to know that I already had the second book on tap to continue it!

Devan is a very strong character who knows what he wants. Anger and revenge can make a person even stronger. So can love, which she seeks from Kent. Langston is a great protector and she also relies on some old friends to help her come to terms with her father and her fate. I'm eager to devour Bitten Shame!

Fae have been organizing to invade Earth, and their devious plans are culminating now, colliding with Bri's very existence. Using a powerful glamour, the Fae trigger each person's violent tendencies, turning the streets into a battleground and strangers against each other. In a crushing blow, Quinn becomes affected and Bri finds herself battling to save her lover from himself as he stalks her relentlessly, taunting her at every turn.

But fighting for her love isn't her only worry. As the battle ensues, Bri discovers a startling truth about her own heritage that she must come to terms with. She has no other choice but to fight, leading her to a confrontation that will change her world forever - and threaten to leave her with broken promises.

**My thoughts**

I happily jumped on this book tour, because I keep hearing wonderful things about Belinda Boring. As I read the prologue, I got a little scared, because there were kings and queens with fae in a historical setting, which isn't usually my forte. As the story began to unfold, though, I got completely sucked in. The historical aspect of the prologue is important to setting up the story in modern times. And the story is a good one.

Bri is thrust into turmoil as she continually has to decide between saving herself and saving Quinn, her one true love, who is not himself anymore. Honestly, I am not sure what I would do if I were in her situation. I found myself torn between supporting her and her unwavering man who may still be present under that curse, and wanting to smack her for allowing the cursed version to abuse her as she puts herself into continual danger.  There is another man on the horizon, who seems to have some excellent potential.

This story ends abruptly with a cliffhanger. Just like Bri, you will not get all of your questions answered. You won't be sure which path should be taken. And you will also be in shock at the final scene. Now I will be impatient for the follow-up book to be released!
