Love in Hopeless Places: Her Dangerous Experiment by Mitchell Megaley
Alexa Williams lived a simple life. As an athlete and a programmer, she had her troubles and had always pushed through…but this time was different. She definitely was not looking for love, nor was she looking to get mixed up in any ugly dealings, but when they say love is found in hopeless places, this could easily have been what they had in mind. Forcefully taken away from her home and all that she was familiar with for a dangerous experiment that threatened her life, things couldn’t be more hopeless. And as for love…
Jude was careless with a lot of things, including his finances, and it was this carelessness that led him to the mess in which he now found himself. He needed solutions and he needed money—lots of it and fast. So, when a job as a researcher for a deadly project became his latest opportunity, it was an offer he couldn’t refuse. It was never part of the plan to get head over heels distracted, but there is no other way to describe his situation once he set eyes on the beautiful Alexa.
Things heated up fast, and now it seems like it’s all about to come crashing down. He’s stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea, and now Jude must choose between what he desperately needs and what he desires more than anything.
Will Alexa and Jude live happily ever after, or does the hopelessness of dangerous circumstances make theirs the cautionary tale of once in a lifetime love that was too good to last?

Dance of the Damned by Winter_Iris
Have you had a chance to enjoy stories on Ringdom yet? Check out this free book, Dance of the Damned by Winter_Iris.
"The past, the present and the future, are they all that different in the end?"
Micah Pober is the only child of the Pober family. The heir, as one could call it. He has everything a parent could want from their next heir.
He is smart, kind, resourceful, and blind, with an aversion to the sun or any kind of heat after what happened with his parents. It does not help that he is quite sickly either.
But, like all protagonists, he holds a secret. A secret he has no intention of revealing to anyone.
And no, it is not that he can see the souls of people or that he can absorb those souls into himself. Those everyone, well, almost everyone, already knows about that.

New Era (Era of Darkness Book 2) by Naif Makmi
Vivien was taken to Phineas’ facility, Untergang and she was tortured by Phineas. She brought forth her son in the darkness of the facility with the aid of a slave from Armageddon. After the birth of her son, she slipped into unconsciousness leaving her child at the mercy of Phineas. The slave named the child, Damien and cleaned him up. Regina, a scientist, and nurse took her son, Damien into her care and nurtured him till he got to ten. She was Vivien’s nurse too, so she took care of her.
She took him in because Phineas threatened to kill him if she did not take her as his. He grew up in isolation because she did not want him to contact Phineas. She grew fond of him as he grew each passing day and she put Vivien into an induced coma to prevent her from waking up and finding out that her son was enough.
Damien was a very smart child and it reflected in the way he spoke. He craved to go out and grow up with his age mates, but Regina refused him. Damien escaped from the house one day and found his way into Untergang.
Dylan and Arora planned Phineas’ downfall and attacked his facility. They were found by a doctor, and they planned their revenge on Phineas. They attacked his facility when he was not aware and captured him. Vivien who was in a coma for ten years eventually woke up when she heard their voices.
They took Damien with them and went back to Armageddon which was renovated by Dylan. He kept Phineas in the basement of the house and bonded with his family. Arora and Ben, the doctor who took care of them fell in love with each other and planned their wedding the same time Vivien and Dylan planned theirs.

Darsus threatened to attack Dylan’s family if he did not release Phineas from his hostage. In his bid to save his family, he ended up getting them killed. Damien was taken to Untergang, and he was raised by Regina. His hate for Phineas grew and Regina was not exempted when he found out that she betrayed his father. He traveled to Australia and came back with the aim of revenge.
He tried to take over Phineas’ company and destroy him when he discovered that Phineas was building a robot army. Arora found him and aided him in destroying Phineas. He was also supported by his fiancée, Estrella. Unfortunately, Phineas’ army was stronger than theirs and they lost everything they worked for.

Dark Age (Era of Darkness Book 1) by Naif Makmi
In this dystopia, artificial intelligence has taken over society, and enslaved humans are bred like cattle and relegated to work extenuating jobs under the watchful eyes of their facility masters.
The feared Dylan is the head of Armageddon, a large human prison and experiment facility. He runs the compound with an iron fist and does not refrain from using violence to separate children from their parents to be sold to the highest bidder, or from pouring arsenic into the wounds of uncooperative slaves. The ground floor - known as the “torture” one - is his personal playground.
However, Dylan is human and, as adamantly as he deems his kin to be flawed, soft and imperfect in comparison to the AIs he masterfully creates, his traumatic past catches up to him when he meets a strong-willed human slave that challenges his authority.
Vivien refuses to be called ‘120’, her assigned number. Kind and caring of her fellow enslaved humans in Armageddon, she does not hold back from rushing in the aid of her closest friend, Derek, and standing her ground against Dylan’s orders.
A wrathful Dylan commands unspeakable punishments to be administered to both, but cannot get 120 off his mind. When he realizes she might be a useful instrument to face the imminent attack by his nemesis, Phineas, his encounters with Vivien draw the two closer.
When the compound is ambushed and the two are separated from one another, Dylan is sent to a labor camp where he finally experiences the horrors that he had previously inflicted on his kin; although under the stress of his childhood memories and overworked by the guards, he is sure he will find a way to track down Vivien.
Embark in a dark age where obscure undertones permeate the lives of those held against their will in a positivist society that turns a blind eye to expendable assets such as human lives.

Review of The Last One (Love in a Small Town Book 1) by Tawdra Kandle
Come home to Love in a Small Town, stand-alone happily ever after romances with lots of heat and heart!
Welcome to Burton, Georgia, the farm community where the women are sassy, the men are sexy, and happily-ever-afters are a specialty of the house.
Meet Meghan and Sam . . .
Meghan
When I signed up to spend my final summer of college teaching art to underserved kids, I wanted a chance to reinvent myself, to go somewhere new and different. I never thought I’d end up in a small town in Georgia, living on a farm . . . with a man who clearly wishes I were anywhere but there.
But here I am. And even if Sam Reynolds doesn’t like it, I can’t help my attraction to him. Maybe I don’t want to help it. His deep brown eyes and slow Southern-boy drawl just do something to me. Something real and deep and maybe a little scary.
Sam
I don’t need excitement, and I sure don’t want romance. Fun is out of the question for a guy like me. I’ve had to be the steady, responsible one since my parents died, and serious is my way of life.
When this fiery red-haired art student moves into my farm house, I won’t deny that I’m tempted by her. But giving into temptation could mean radical change . . . maybe more than I can handle. Meghan makes me want to believe in crazy things like forever and happy endings.
She’s the last thing I expected. I’m the last one she needs. And this is just a summer fling.
Isn’t it?
All of the Love in a Small Town romances can be read on their own. While characters pop up in each other's stories, you can begin reading at any book and feel right at home!

**My thoughts**
The Last One is the first book in a series that is a spin-off from Tawdra’s Crystal Cove series, which I loved. It features Meghan, the daughter of our favorite heroine from The Posse, which kicked off that series. She’s been going through a lot after the death of her father and then all of the other life changes while working toward the end of her college career. So when her roommate suggests a joyride to a small town called Burton to go out dancing, she jumps on it. She has a little too much fun and then the car breaks down while her roomie is driving them home. They get helped out by a hottie who is immediately physically drawn to Meg. But when they meet up again, their interaction is quite contentious. And then when Meg gets placed in Burton for a summer gig teaching art, guess who the host family is?
Sam and Meghan are constantly at odds with each other. You know what that means. The more passionate the arguments, the more passion there will be elsewhere. And man, do these two have it.
I’ll tell you right now that if you are not into open door love scenes, do not read this book. (Though you will be missing out on a great story.) These two have quite the physical attraction to each other.
But it does also go deeper than that and we have front row seats to it all.
I like Sam for his devotion to his family and his strong work ethic, both of which have served him well through some tumultuous years. Meghan is super feisty and aims to get what she wants. She is also super dedicated to her art and the children she teaches. It’s that kind of passion that they both have in life that has drawn them to each other.
We also meet other characters who will feature in later installments. I am particularly fond of Ali, Sam’s little sister.
I had originally read this back when the series was just a trilogy, but came back to it to catch up on the rest and prepare for the year-long novella series coming out this year. I really enjoy the town of Burton and its residents. I hope you will, too.

Review of Blue Twilight Short: The Prologue, 1989 by Tess Thompson
This is the introduction to Blue Twilight, the fifth book in the page-turning Blue Mountain: Logan Bend contemporary romance series. If you like relatable characters, small-town drama, and a juicy mystery, then you’ll adore Tess Thompson’s exciting tale.
This is just the prologue to the fifth book in the Blue Mountain series by Tess Thompson. It is also the first book featuring a new family in the area, who live in a neighboring town. Note that it ends on sort of a cliffhanger, but is designed to whet your appetite to find out what really happened after Beth left the fair and what secret she was hiding. I know I am ready to devour the new book!

A ROMANTIC NOVELLA ABOUT CHANCE EVENTS AND LAST CHANCES.
Thirty year old Jan Falkenberg hasn’t been kissed for nearly three years. On a serendipitous day she finds a peculiar gold coin that promises to bring luck in life and love. Just in time ... if you believe in that kind of thing! Jan has some burdensome promises to keep and a looming deadline. After making her find, she gains a new sense of confidence ... but nine more months pass and her lips are still waiting for a tender touch. Self-doubt fills her single heart and a hint of panic sets in.
As time runs short, her risky promises are in jeopardy. With her deadline approaching, she faces painful options yet none of her candidates seem to be Mr. Right. Jan looks for the chance to spur on an office romance but time is fleeting and soon, time and the coin will pressure her to make her pick—any pick. Jan’s choice may solve her crisis...or just break what's left of her heart.
Vi Zetterwall’s Single Heart series explores the very nature of a woman and a man’s relationship. Each book is a stand-alone story—a short novel that pays homage to the verbal foreplay that goes on early in a relationship. Vi’s novels feature unique characters facing everyday problems—and sometimes, not-so-everyday. Although the characters and plotlines are all different, there is a connecting thread: In each book, the leading lady comes into possession of the Coin of Luck in Life and Love. In ways, sometimes small, sometimes great, the coin affects her actions and all subsequent events.
In your life, you have probably experienced an event that seemed inconsequential at the time but had far-reaching results. Vi’s books explore the magic that occurs when serendipity strikes and some chance meeting, a misunderstanding, an unexpected job offer or an untimely car breakdown leads to two people finding each other and falling in love. Vi writes about relationships and the drama that comes from every conversation. The steam that rises from her books is not due to an abundance of love scenes. You won’t see many phrases discussing the male anatomy or torrid moments in the bedroom. But you will feel your blood pressure rise during the dialogue-heavy scenes between potential lovers. Your heart will ache when the leading lady’s does and you will gain the same insights about life and love that she has.
Follow the travels of one coin and the lives it touches. As each book concludes, the protagonist passes on the Coin of Luck to another random woman—sort of a sneak preview to the next story in the series. And everything seems to change after that. Is the coin magic or is it merely a catalyst that pushes love in the right direction? Every reader will have to decide for themselves. Vi Zetterwall weaves tales of love, suspense, mystery, and always a twist or two at the end—she loves a happy ending and never fails to deliver.
Making up stories has always seemed very easy for me. It was having the discipline to write them down that was tough. I wrote one novel and it took three years and, honestly, it wasn't very good. Then I started in on my favorite storyline and wrote and wrote. I got up to 200 pages in Word and realized I wasn't even one fourth of the way through. In between working and taking care of family, it had taken me seven years. That one is still collecting dust.
Then I noticed what Amazon was doing and I saw all the ebooks that were being published as short stories. I thought "Hey, I could do that!" So now I aim to write novellas and short novels (35,000 to 65,000 words) and I find the words just fly off my fingertips. Good plots but short. Turns out to be much easier.
People ask me how I am able to write so quickly and I tell them about my youth. When I was young, my older sister and I slept in the same bed. What I didn't know is that as soon as I fell asleep, she would get back up and watch TV. So she wanted me to fall asleep fast! I usually fell asleep pretty quickly but one time, when I was about six, I couldn't sleep and so my sister told me to 'tell myself a story'. Well, she was my big sister! I lived off of every word that flowed from her mouth. I believed everything she said. So, I told myself a story and got to sleep. I did it the next night too. And now, 30 years later, I am still telling myself stories. Every night. Granted, at first they were pretty juvenile but as I got older I started creating more elaborate stories, writing them out word for word in my head. Now, I have dozens and dozens of them waiting impatiently to get out of my head and onto paper ... or in this case, Kindles.
Now, after completing my twelve book Single Heart series - from "January and the Single Heart" to "December and the Single Heart", Markers, a young adult novel, came out in February '16 and I followed that up with a 4-book dystopian series called The Maid of Salerno in 2017.
In all of my books I try to show the strength of the human spirit and give ourselves a glimpse of what we could be if we followed our better nature. I believe a good story needs a healthy dose of twists and turns along with a few curveballs. Great books throw in a little romance, some heartbreak, an element of adventure and a boatload of suspense as well. And I admit it, I'm a sucker for a happy ending.
I hope you've had a chance to read one or more of my stories. It really means a lot to me. If you would be so kind as to drop me an email and tell me what you liked (or hated) about the book, I will use all your feedback to improve and make the next one better. Or, just write and tell me about yourself or say HI and tell me where you're from. I will put you on my list and send you a notice when my next book comes out and a sneak preview to it as well.
Thank you again for giving me the chance to entertain you. If your heart is already full, I hope that my stories bring you a little more happiness. And if you are still chasing your dreams, I wish you Godspeed and I pray that my stories give you hope.

Read an excerpt:
Glen followed up with Jan and took a shot. “Say, I, um, I know this is a longshot but I was just wondering. I really enjoyed our walk the other day and I thought maybe, um, you might let me take you out to dinner this weekend…or next?”
With all that she had going this week leading up to the party, Jan was really on edge.
And now this! Just one more male I can add to the list of guys who have disappointed me. Just when I thought maybe the others have judged him too harshly, he goes and tries again to involve me in his sleazy ways.
For a brief moment, she flashed back to the image of Dustin spewing lies right to her face. With her rage building, she let him have it with both barrels. “I don’t believe you. What is it with you guys? Can’t you keep it in your pants for fifteen minutes? You’ve got a girlfriend you’ve been living with for five years. Why don’t you take her out instead? The answer is NO! NO! NO! I won’t help you cheat on your live-in girlfriend. Can I be any clearer than that?”
Glen raised his hand and tried to jump in. “Jan, honestly, you don’t understand. I made a—”
Jan interrupted him immediately. “I do understand! And that’s what makes me so mad. If I had a nickel for every guy who claimed I didn’t understand, I could pay off the national debt. Everyone knows about Vicky and how you treat her. You are disgusting to me. I don’t want to go out with you and I don’t want to talk to you anymore. Just leave me alone.”
“Jan, really, Vicky is an alley cat. I made a mistake back when—”
“Shut up! Just shut up! You use that kind of language about her as though she has lower morals than you. You’re the one cheating on her. I don’t want to go out with someone who cheats. Please, leave me alone. If you see me coming, you better walk the other way or so help me, I will deck you.” With that, she brushed past him and left the room. As she walked out into the office, two dozen pairs of eyes were on her. It hadn’t really occurred to her that there were so many people in the office still working. They heard it all and it just didn’t matter to Jan.
I’m tired of taking everything lying down. From now on, I’m fighting back and no two-timing cheater is going to make me back off.
About Vi Zetterwall
My name is Vi Zetterwall. I live in Seattle, Washington and have a day job and a private life but for years I have whiled away spare time dreaming up plots and imagining stories about characters with a driving goal and men and women and their unique romantic interactions. I've just finished publishing my twelfth book, December and the Single Heart, a contemporary romance novel and the last one in the Single Heart series. Now I am off to a new genre, working on my 4-book dystopian series leading off with The Maid of Salerno, which went live in June 2016. Trials of the Maid became available in October '16 while the 3rd book, Journey of the Maid, was published in April '17. The final book is due in December of '17.Making up stories has always seemed very easy for me.

FREE today 5/1 The Blood: Secrets and Lies by Brandylan James
The Blood: Secrets and Lies
What would you do for love?
Would you lie for it?
Would you die for it?
Would you kill for it?
Would you endure centuries of darkness for just one last chance to change everything, even if you knew it was probably hopeless?
Love is never easy. But in the end, it is all that is worth fighting for ...
When the first day of senior year finally rolled around in sleepy Croft's Landing, NC, Jules Walker was definitely psyched. Not only was she going to hook up with her best bud and fellow Blud band member, Dylan Croft after the long summer vacation, but more importantly, according to the grapevine, Dylan and Landing High’s resident queen bitch, Amanda Zane were officially over. For some reason, that made Jules’ heart beat just a tad faster. However, before she even had a chance to process, much less address her newly emerging feelings for Dylan, he was already head-over-heels . . . for someone else, and not just anyone else ... for Jules' best friend, and that would be his undoing; in fact, it could prove deadly.
Enter tall, svelte new girl, Madison Janey who barreled into English Lit class in the middle of a discussion on Pride and Prejudice, balancing a schedule in one hand and an attitude in the other. That's when Jules intuitively knew three things for sure: Madison was destined to be her best friend, Dylan was going to fall in love with her, and that, in turn, was going to put them all on a catastrophic collision course.
It didn't take long. From the moment the iconoclastic "Maddie" moved into the Landing’s Inn, aka home-sweet-home to Jules and her single mom, Starr, there were far more questions than answers. Despite Madison’s somewhat fanciful accounts about her family, despite her mysterious disappearances in the late night hours, Jules was content to cut her friend some slack because that’s what best friends did. Amanda Zane, on the other hand, felt no such compunction. To her, Madison Janey said one thing: "competition," and she was bound and determined to expose her as a fake and a liar. That, too, didn't take long, but even when confronted with Amanda’s “proof,” Jules refused to admit what should have been painfully obvious: Madison was hiding something. The pills she found in her friend’s room should have been enough to raise a red flag; not to mention the dried blood stains on her clothes and the way her eyes changed and looked, well . . . not human. Then the mysterious texts started, suggesting that Dylan was in danger. The thing was, Jules really loved Madison . . . as much as she loved Dylan. Even though it hurt like hell to have to watch the two people she cared for the most falling in love, Jules couldn't allow herself to believe anything bad about Madison. It wasn't until she found her friend packing to leave town the night before Blud's big Halloween concert that Jules confronted her, mostly because she knew it would break Dylan’s heart if Madison checked out without so much as a good-bye. Though Madison begged Jules to trust her one last time and tearfully promised to tell her everything – and Dylan as well -- Jules knew in her heart that it was one more lie.
But Croft’s Landing was a town founded on lies and secrets, something both Jules and Dylan would inadvertently discover that same Halloween night: Jules, when she happened upon an old diary in Madison's backpack; Dylan, when his father revealed a horrifying truth about the Crofts.
As the moon turned blood red for the first time in over four hundred years, an ancient curse was about to be unleashed – one that set Madison and Dylan on opposite sides of two powerful families bent on each other’s destruction; one that freed an enigmatic prisoner to exact his revenge on the witch who condemned him for loving her; and one that would ultimately demand one thing: their blood . . . .
Read an excerpt:
It’s started again. We’re betrayed. They’ve denounced us as witches and now everyone is calling for our blood. They’ve all gone mad. I don’t know if I’ll survive this night or if I’ll ever see Daniel again …
***
As Cassondra glared into her intruder’s cold, steel blue eyes, a tremor rocked her resolve.
“Where is he, Jaydon? Where is Daniel …? What have you done?!”
Jaydon Croft raised the gun, his red lips curling into a deadly smirk.
“Are you ready to die, witch?”
***
According to the village grapevine, Dylan and Amanda Zane were over. That mattered because: first, Amanda was never good enough for him; and secondly because Dylan was Jules’ best friend, and thirdly because … Jules pressed her eyes shut and made a demi-pirouette in the direction of the doorway. She couldn’t allow herself to finish the thought or even acknowledge that there was any more to it. There wasn’t. It was enough to say that Dylan Croft was special, and the real reason Jules could have for looking forward to senior year was that she would have the opportunity to hang out with him more if he was disengaged from Landing High’s resident queen bitch.
Rave reviews!
- A compelling drama weaving fantasy with history. This is a worthy follow-up to Bram Stoker and the vampire legend. The pace is fast and lively. Well done! - Amazon Customer
- The character development is authentically relatable. There is an empathy for the psychological introspections that question one's life decisions. The descriptions of time and place are pleasantly bucolic. - Barbara DiVenuto
- Be forewarned: you will not be able to put this book down. From the start you are inexplicably drawn into the lives of these star crossed (or rather blood crossed) characters. A gripping story with plenty of drama, suspense, intrigue, and romance. A mesmerizing must read! The next "Twilight"! - Michele Landers

Author Bio - Michelle Diana Lowe
Born in the early 1980s, I grew up relatively poor, within inner-city London. As a kid, I always had a love of words and stories. I was a lonely and somewhat friendless child, but surrounded myself with books for comfort. The local library and classic novels were my best friends, my escapism from a world that did not quite understand me. In spite of my loneliness and humble beginnings, I felt I had a greater purpose in life. God had made me unique and different for a reason.
Being severely bullied at primary school and experiencing family problems aged nine, I dug deep, and found that, tapping into my passion for words and writing, really helped to repair my soul and aided the healing process. Barely ten years old and a voracious reader – reading Judy Blume novels such as – Deenie, Blubber, Tiger Eyes and Are You There God It's Me Margaret?, I decided to pen my very first novel, which was around 30,000 words in length. The deep satisfaction I had when finishing it, told me that I needed, not just wanted, to be a writer. I was born to be one. Inside me, I knew I had important messages to give the world, through the power of the written word. Making this dream of becoming a published author a reality, then became my long-term goal.
In my late teens and early 20s, I studied English Literature with Philosophy at Roehampton University. Whilst doing my Bachelor of Arts degree, I felt inspired by bestselling novelists, Toni Morrison and Zadie Smith. I absorbed and was mesmerised by, their stories and experiences. As my writing style developed, the positive influences of Toni and Zadie, helped infuse culture and society into my creative work.
After graduating from university with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature with Philosophy, I started working as a Children's Centre Administrator in East London, where I support families by signposting and referring them to key services.
It was in January 2015 that my first career break came. I was signed by US Publisher UrbanEdge for my debut novel UnShatter Me. In April 2016 I submitted my second novel Broken Roots to Creativia Publishing and I was signed by this publisher. Broken Roots is my most successful novel to date. Not only was it named one of the Best Indie Books of 2016 on Read Free.ly's list, but it has also been on two Amazon bestsellers lists, on six separate occasions, and has been a bestseller in three different territories, the UK, US and Canada. Furthermore, the Italian and Spanish translation editions of Broken Roots will be available on Amazon very soon.
As an author with urban foundations, I feel I have a commitment to bring more diversity into all my books and into the publishing industry. In my writing, I also have a desire to raise awareness of young mental health and help make a difference in people's lives.
When I am not writing, I love to unwind and relax, by watching period dramas and blockbuster movies. I also enjoy reading books in a variety of genres.

Wednesday by Success Akpojotor
Wednesday
Wednesday is a dreaded day.
This is an inexorable tale of undiscovered crime where investigation spins out of control. Westminster is gripped every Wednesday by the gruesome deeds of an anonymous serial murderer.
The Specialist Crime Directorate of the London Metropolitan Police bestows its prime suspect with the responsibility of catching and bringing this mysterious villain to the bars of justice. Consequently, Detective Wole Robert is on a quest to unravel this mystery.
This villain is of course most assuredly crazy, slick and dangerous with the use of cyanide and tattoos to work his way into the serial murderers’ hall of fame.

Chasing Their Losses by Lucia Sinn FREE February 18-20
Chasing Their Losses
31 year-old Cara Mackenzie is back home from Miami, starting a new career as nutrition director of Sycamore Hospital, and in a blossoming romance with Dr. John Drakos. But when she runs into her former lover, the suave and sexy Tony Cabella, she's drawn into a dangerous web of addiction and murder.
Tony invites Cara to his home under the pretext of helping his diabetic daughter, and pressures Cara into taking his children to lunch. That's when Tony's stepson vanishes, and Gail Cabella blames Cara for her son's disappearance. The police consider Dr. Drakos a possible suspect, but as the mystery surrounding the boy's kidnapping heightens, unanswered questions point to a conspiracy. Who shot Tony when he and Cara met in secret, and why won't he call the police? How is Tony connected to the new physician from California who seems hell-bent on undermining Cara's efforts? Cara's suspicions send her on a perilous journey that nearly destroys her.
At the heart of this novel are four damaged people: John and Cara, whose passionate relationship is clouded by painful memories and fear of commitment; Tony and his second wife, Gail, who gave up everything for sexual fulfillment, only to find disillusion and heartbreak. As the tragic events spin out of control, the heart thumping suspense builds, with twists and turns that take you from the verdant farmland and dangerous waterfalls of Indiana to the vast, lawless sand dunes and nude beaches of Texas.
