Can a magical Christmas under glass…

…bring them back together for good?

Widowed dad Adam Masterson still doesn’t understand why Joy Boston left Indian Lake and broke his heart all those years ago. Now she’s returned to sell her grandfather’s beloved poinsettia greenhouse—and Joy and Adam’s connection is as strong as ever. But Joy has a life in New York. And Adam has only until Christmas to convince Joy that she belongs in Indian Lake—with him.

**My thoughts**
First, I have to say that it's great to be back in Indian Lake! I've read a few other books from this series and enjoyed having an opportunity to go back to visit. Everyone is here, even a few people I may not necessarily remember, because I haven't read some of the books in the series. But for the holidays, the more the merrier!

This is your typical second-chance romance with a bunch of Hallmark movie thrown in. And because it is a Christmas book, that makes it fit absolutely perfectly. You can't help but love this formula at this time of year, because it always makes you feel good.

Joy left town years ago after her parents were killed, and left behind her beloved grandfather, a world full of friends, and the love of her life. She's doing OK in NYC, but you know she isn't truly happy. She's just going through the motions, and that includes her fiance, whom I disliked immediately from the get-go.

She comes home when her grandfather dies, and of course runs into her ex-boyfriend Adam. He has also dealt with immeasurable loss in his life. And the sparks fly between the two of them almost immediately. You wonder how she could even consider selling off the greenhouses and returning to New York and her less than stellar life.

So just like any good Hallmark Christmas story, the town bands together to help Joy achieve her grandfather's dream. You get all warm and fuzzy from how kind and generous everyone is. You swoon at how much Adam does for her, because naturally, this is also his dream with some of his own inventions thrown in. You want the two of them to acknowledge that they're still in love with each other. You get amused by Titus, Adam's precocious son, and all of the other young ones. And of course, you want Joy to stay where you know she is truly going to be the happiest.

I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my honest and voluntary review.
