**My thoughts**
This book is the second in a series about the Reiley family, but it can actually stand on its own. The beginning of the book quickly recaps the important details of the first one, so that you understand the reasoning behind the kidnapping in this second one. It's a thriller with plenty of suspense, yet "cleaner" than many of the others currently on the market. The battle for faith adds an interesting element to it, as well.
I like the dedication that this close-knit family has for each other. Kerry is a strong woman who depends on her faith to help her make the right decisions. Luke, the family friend who is asked to help keep her safe, is struggling with his faith and unresolved issues from his past. But the two of them together have great chemistry.
