**My thoughts**
This book was quite different for me. I have heard of astral projection, throughout perhaps our real world, but never projection within a created world, like a parallel universe. I found the concept to be very interesting.
At first, I enjoyed how the story started immediately in the middle of the action. It drew you in and made you want to find out what was going on. And then, I was really confused. I didn't understand why things were happening, nor how everyone and everything fit together. As I kept reading, I realized that I was in the same boat as some of the characters, who were trying to unravel the mysteries at the same time. Not everyone is who they seem to be. Questions haven't yet been answered. Experiments are still in progress.
And the story is just beginning. It does end on somewhat of a cliffhanger, though this portion of the story comes to a satisfactory conclusion. I applaud K.D. Rose for investigating a different supernatural realm and look forward to what happens next in the series!
